I'm glad there are higher-ranking people who not only can see but also actually care about the students and the work I do.  I figure one day, I'll thank those who didn't let me feel too comfortable.  It urges me on with my creative pursuits.  In the meantime, my darling students (without knowing anything is going on) tell me things like, "Don't ever change.  There's no one like you."  I don't know how to convey to them how much they help me.  It is wonderful that the majority of my time there is spent with such real people. 

And now, let's bring in the spring.  Let's open our arms and embrace it.  Let's laugh 'til it hurts (in a good way, of course).
