Truth be told, I admire Spike. I've seen and enjoyed many of his films. I wish him well, especially with his current Kickstarter campaign.
At this writing he's got 6 days to go andisthisclose to his goal of
$1,125,886
Yeah Spike, go on wit yo bad self bro!
BTW...
Did I mention I'm a 1st time film director with a cultural legacy project in post-production?
Drama Mamas The Film puts the spotlight on #BlackWomenTheaterDirectors
and celebrates their contribution to
American Theater.
Because Kaci Fannin believes in my project, she jolted me out of my lack of film funds torpor by initiating an Indidgogo campaign to get the film
out of post-production limbo.

We have 27 days to reach our goal, and I'm not hating on Spike, even if I did momentarily consider putting Tyler Perry's picture over Spike's name...
I'm pushing for the life of this historic feature.

Say you believe in me, the worthiness of my project honoring unsung women of vision who have had an impact on

Spike is asking for money? Damn. Anyway, the shot of you as homeless is so convincing. I was in the crack-house scene of "Jungle Fever" and was to play homeless. When I arrived, they said I looked too homeless and to lose the shopping cart. lol Later, other actors told me they thought I was homeless when I first showed up. It's a scary-thin line.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's really exciting news! You are the most beautiful homeless person I've ever seen, by the way! ~S
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. We move on & onward!
