International Poet

 

 Handsome, the international poet

good-smelling too

the one with many books

alluring accent

speaking many languages

spoke to me

in lust 

 

 

That would’ve been fine

if it came with a side of caring

 

The international poet speaking

many languages writing many books

did not speak my language –

Bronx English – did not speak

the language of my mind

my heart

my vagina
